Problems:
- The class “.elementor-widget-text-editor” in Theme CSS is too powerful, overriding the local settings.
- Some heading widgets are using all “defaults” in Typrography.
- Currently, the Privacy and T&C pages have page ID selector in front of “.elementor-widget-text-editor” to specify the font styles.
- The use of class Page ID in front of “.elementor-widget-text-editor” does not support the required styling on new pages created.
Findings
The priority of CSS:
Text-editor Widget:
Widget CSS (selector h3{ }) >
Theme’s CSS = .elementor-widget-text-editor h3 { } >
Theme’s CSS = h3 { } >>>
Widget’s Style Tab = .elementor-widget-text-editor { }
Heading Widget:
Widget’s Style Tab = h4.elementor-heading title { } >
Widget CSS (selector h4 { }) = elementor-element h3 { } >
Theme’s CSS = h4 { }
Solution
1. Re-specify the font styling in Widget CSS of text-editors on pages except Privacy page, T&C and the test pages from Zoe.
2. Remove the two page ID selectors in front of “.elementor-widget-text-editor” in the Theme’s CSS. This will affect all other text-editors on other pages.

}
